The business was founded by James Cochrane, a Chartered Surveyor with broad experience built up over 20 years in UK real estate with market leading developers and investors including Grosvenor, Mace and ING Real Estate.
Prior to establishing the business James was a Director in Grosvenor's UK Property Investment business where he was responsible for their strategic land and property interests in Cambridge and a portfolio of residential development land promotion projects across the South East, in total 15,000 homes.
Cochrane Strategic was instrumental in securing an exit for Grosvenor from its strategic land investments and in turn the business has retained interests and involvement in several of these projects alongside landowners and new investors.
